Woman Dies in Fatal Crash in Cross

January 8, 2020

A woman of Goose Creek lost her life in a horrific accident in Cross. Forty-three-year-old Stacey Reynolds was dead at the scene of the accident on Old Highway 6 near Cherokee Path Lane, according to the report from Berkley County Coroner’s Office.

The office informed that they learned about the accident on Friday afternoon around 5 p.m.

For now, the reason for the accident is not known. It was only reported that the woman was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

The coroner’s office and South Carolina Highway Patrol are still working on the investigation.

Not everyone is lucky to come out of an auto accident alive. No matter what was the reason for this accident, at the end of the day, the person is gone. However, even if you lose a loved one in such a wreck, you can still file a claim and demand compensation for wrongful death.

Of course, there are many factors that the investigation will reveal such as whsether the victim was driving under the influence, in what condition was the vehicle (if there were issues with the breaks, for e.g.), if something distracted the driver (phone, another vehicle, an animal).

Once you get the entire picture of how the accident happened, you can file a claim for wrongful death (against the vehicle manufacturer, faulty roads, the place where the victim drank alcohol, for e.g.).

The best way to go through such a case is to consult and collaborate with a car accident or wrongful death attorney.
